   Pleaseeee?

And a big button near the bottom to click on to select our hero.
And E, R, or F hotkey to select our hero by default, and a button nearby to select all units(for generals) and possibly one to select all units by unit type(cycling).
Anddd Double tap attack key to hit the closest enemy.

1-5 for first 5 skills.  shift+1-5 for the other 5.(There is 10, right?)  This would annoy some people, but for me when my fingers are on WASD and hand on mouse reaching for 6-0 is too far away.  At least need to be able to rebind to this with maybe 1-0 as default..  Or maybe have it default the way I said and make people realize my genius!

Those are the important ones i can think of.

Not sure if you turn around instantly or not.. if you do i'd have other hotkeys to suggest, like double-tap D to turn around while just pressing D to walk backwards(quicker that way then to move backwards).   I'm guessing it's all probably instant so you wouldn't need to walk backwards for any reason I can think of.

I'm not suggesting to remove click-to-move.  I'm suggesting to add W-A-S-D.
Despite saying that half a dozen times in replies, people still haven't gotten it.  So maybe big letters here will help.

For me, as i'm a Guildwars player, i prefer to also have WASD control. There's some advantages in doing WASD like these

1. You can time and dodge some skill that's a projectile (not 100% hit)

2. you can stop while casting and start running as soon as you finish the casting.

3. Make kiting and using skills easier

But when we think about the technical implementation, we can see some conflict here.

1. We don't have STRAFING animation for Demigods.

2. SupCom seem to support Strafing when firing but Demigod have to stop before attacking. That mean it may actually doable to move in a strafing way.

3. WASD control may conflict with the pathfinding calculation of the game, since the initial design of the engine haven't bring the WASD control into architecture design.

To  sum it up, it's a good thing to have more than 1 method of controling. But due to some techinical difficulties, this may not happen to be posible to implement.

If technical obstacles are not too great, I would love to see wasd as an option.  It's something a lot of games are familiar with to the point of being second nature.  It's nice when I'm being lazy and don't want to keep clicking because I can just hold the buttons down.

As for gamepad support, why not?  Demigod (at least what we've seen so far of it) would likely work very well on a console control scheme, since it's fairly minimalist.

I'm looking forward to the DS version .

One advantage to a general's WASD implemenation is that you can move the general around with WASD and highlight+command specific units with the mouse action. My guess is that the opposite is going to occur, where you move your general with the mouse point+click and use 1,2,3,4 to highlight units.

After releasing the content as-is, I would push for having a WASD method implemented, so people can choose the one more intuitive for them.

after playing the games several times, I would like the WASD to control the movement of the camera (forward, backward and left to right) with the a camera rotation when the mouse is pushed to the edge of the screen.

It has been a pain in the Arse to get the Rook's Hammer ability to hit in front of him, because you can't see that part of the circle!!

Yeah I like WiC's control scheme.  WASD to move camera, mouse at the edges to tilt/twist.

I still wouldn't mind the option of WASD character movement either though.
